Travel & Getting Around Town

Drivers: To get to Eureka Springs by car, it’s about a 9 Hour drive from Houston with gorgeous scenery for the last 1/3 of the trip.

We prefer the route that avoids Dallas and goes through Choctaw Nation and Fort Smith - it's about 15min longer but a much prettier route and way less 18-wheelers.

Flyers: To get to Eureka Springs by plane, consider flying into either Branson Airport (BKG) located in Branson, Missouri or Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport (XNA) in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Both are just a 45 minute, very scenic drive into Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Getting-Around-Towners: Getting around Eureka Springs is easy - Almost everything is within walking distance and there is a cute little trolley that runs all over town.

However, parking can be tricky during the busier times and weekends. There are several public lots in the middle of town and street parking too. There is a park-and-ride on the edge of town where you can catch the trolley to anywhere you want. Public lots in town are about $5-10/ day and the park-and-ride is $5 with a discount if you buy a trolley pass. Free parking after 6pm all over downtown.

If you're staying at the Basin Park Hotel, they offer a free shuttle service from their parking lot and to The Crescent Hotel on the north end of town.
